Style Muse: Anna Dello Russo....

I've decided that there are so many amazing people that fuel my LUST for this industry that sells people obscene amounts of happiness through logos and labels, known as fashion, that I am going to start profiling people who I think (IMO) has their own distinctive sense of STYLE. My first ever Style Muse post features someone who I've always loved for her distinctive and expressive sartorial choices.

Anna Dello Russo is the Fashion Director at Vogue Nippon and she absolutely LUSTS everything fashion!!! Her look is unique yet at the same time directional, sharp, and poetic.

"Because I don't want to keep clothes that don't make sense for my collection.." Anna describes why every piece in her well curated wardrobe is special and unique. The same approach I am beginning to take with my own personal "collection". In a way, we are all designers, buying pieces to create looks that we love; that tell of story of who we are and what we want to say to the world. And so true is the saying, a picture is worth a thousand words, and when it comes to style, if we were to become mute tomorrow, what would our own sartorial voices say to the world...

Well, Anna, we hear you loud and clear. Bravo!

The perfect way to spend Saturdays at home. This is my first of many food porn posts - I'm a Fatty Fatty No Friends when it comes to the great and amazing edible joys of life. And these Oreos are no exception. It has been maybe 2 or 3 years since I last had one, and oh how long it's been. I've missed you old friend.

I Like My Money Right Where I Can See It, Hanging In My Closet....

The perfect line that describes why I, Ernest Bee, who has a full time job, can never keep money in my pocket. Well, NO MORE! I want more than just cheap thrills. I want stability and freedom, that's the life for me, and I won't stop till I reach the top (stepping off my soap box now).

I put these little gold coins on this sweater myself because I, who can never keep money, prefer to wear it, literally! No, these aren't real gold coins, but could you imagine if they were... My coworker promised to buy me a Bedazzler for my bday (which is March 18th by the way), here's hoping.

Uniqlo DIY gold coin sweater worn with my Levi 510 Super Skinny jeans. The perfect conversation piece for casual Fridays in the office.

My tub seemed like the perfect location for these shots of my favorite Zara scarf that reminds me of running water. Someone told me that it looked like beautiful tie dye throw up all over my outfit. Well, thanks!

Paired it with my suede Forever 21 vest, striped H&M cardigan, and Levi 510 Super Skinny jeans. Can't believe tomorrow is Friday, and another random weekend is fast approaching.

Vintage Pringles of Scotland Cardigan

Absolutely, loving the weather here in Ft. Myers right now. Today was the perfect day to wear my vintage Pringles of Scotland cardigan (notice the GPa style with the pushed up sleeve...Genius). Scored this back home from the same vintage shop with the famed Ferragamos. It was complete blasphemy that this epic cardigan with circular wooden buttons was only $5!!! No that was just The Good Lord shining down his light on my extremely tight budget and throwing his fashionable son a bone. True blasphemy would have been to leave without it.

Paired it with my recent thrift find, Banana Republic white button up and my favorite purple suede loafers from Zara. My favorite simple yet chic Ted Baker watch was the perfect "reel em in" accessory - too much at one time and scream, "Trying too hard!" Must remember to show the face of the watch in an upcoming post.

My computer was having a bit of an issue but is back in order. Now to catch up on some much needed Style.com Paris fashion show posts.

Until tomorrow. I bid you adieu.

Hoarders...

Someone should call A&E's new hit show, Hoarders, and tell them to meet me with sparkling water and macaroons. I'm completely obsessing over G-Pa cardigans and it's getting serious. I love them with skinny jeans and crew neck tees or wht bttn ups. The bigger the better. Push up the sleeves and you've got a Tudor-ish style jacket effect going on. So chic!

Found the above beauties on Ebay; just waiting for the last minute to place a bid and hello, Gorgeous!

1. You're vintage and that always tickles my fancy.
2. You're very reminisce of the J.Crew boots that I've been obsessing over.
3. You'd look amazing with a black blazer and white tee.
3. Did I mention that you we're vintage Hogans!
4. Oh, how could I forget...you were only $25!

Dries Van Notens in Fort Myers! I mean, excuse my excitement but you just don't come across art like this in a place like Fort Myers - if you live here or have ever visited, then you know exactly what I mean. But, there they were. Next to Chanel tweeds, and Pucci acid trips. Huddled next to some last season leather excuse for a wedge and the most awful pair of... I don't even want to think about them. The fashion powers that be, Off 5th Avenue, really know how to show a guy a good time.

Took a much needed field trip for my boss during my lunch break, because she couldn't stop obsessing over these shoes, and I had to see them for myself. She didn't want to buy them until I saw them, only because she knew that I would give my honest opinion on whether or not they would be worth it. Don't get me wrong, this woman is one of the most fashionable moms (yes, I know a lot of fashionable 5inch trotting moms) in Fort Myers. Again, another woman that sacrifices like no one's business, but will not sacrifice her sense of style, nope, not one bit. I mean, she has it all - gorge husband, beautiful children, amazing home and a nice covetable bag collection - YSL, Chanel, Goyard, you know, the good stuff. We just like to consult one another on big purchases - I mean, would you buy a car without a friend present, or without seeing the CarFax first...I didn't think so.

Needless to say, when I saw them, it was a total shoegasmic experience. Heavenly music, baby angels playing harps flying all around, the works! I mean fashion is my passion; it's what I do, HELL, it's who I am. Not too many guys in Fort Myers get excited over designer shoes, or would even know a designer shoe outside of Nike and Reebox anyway, but I digress.

Purchased for only $100 - no need for all the details on how she scored these for the low low. I raced back to the office, and died when she slipped these on her perfectly pedicured toes. Total bliss! Imagine the many meetings I'm going to have with her and how I'm always going to think about and stare at those shoes. Oh God, I love my job!

Happy Monday!

Why So Blue...

Wearing Forever 21 men's graphic tee, H&M trousers, Uniqlo belt and my DIY converse. I was completely bored and decided to spruce up my ever classic Converses. With a little industrial glue and metal washers from Home Depot, I completely Frankenstein-ed a completely perfect shoe.

Side note: I completely detest the color of my walls in my bedroom, but I'm too lazy to repaint them - I'm moving in May! Oh well, makes for some pretty interesting lighting though.
